We are officially on the count-down, as Sean and I tie up loose ends and get ready for the big day. We have pulled our parents into the last minute process, as they help us with vendor confirmations and other details. Both Bethany and Megan have helped me with the majority of my favors. We ran out of materials last weekend and were not able to finish, so I’ll be doing those in front of the TV. Sean and I recently bought new luggage for our honeymoon, which Sean has renamed our “moneymoon.” We just finished purchasing and wrapping all of our wedding party gifts for the rehearsal dinner. And on my birthday (Jan. 22), we are going to the courthouse to get our marriage license (EXCITING!). We have very few details left to work out. Everything is coming together quite nicely.

As a wedding treat to ourselves, we bought a new bedroom suite. This is the first big purchase we have bought together and that is truly “ours,” so we are really excited! Everything should be arriving a week from today. We have a king bed with plenty of room for two, a Temperpedic mattress for our hard working backs, two dressers to accommodate my invasion of Sean’s closet (haha), and two nightstands.

That’s about all the new news for now. The countdown has begun!
