Can you believe that in one week Sean and I will be getting married?! I cannot believe how fast time has flown by. It seems like Sean and I just met, and in reality, we will be celebrating our one-year anniversary on the day we wed. What a neat day!

This week I celebrated my 27th birthday. Sean surprised me with fifth row tickets to Cirque du Soleil on Friday night, and a beautiful one-dozen roses delivered to my office. What an awesome surprise that was! Then, on Monday (my real birthday), we went to get our marriage license at the courthouse, and John and Megan treated us to Longhorns. It was nice to take a long-weekend off from wedding stuff to enjoy my birthday. Thanks to all of my family and friends who made it special.

As Sean mentioned below, we only have a few days left to get everything in order for the big day. Go figure that our dryer went out last weekend! haha… just in time for me to wash honeymoon clothes! Sean is learning to be a handy man real fast! haha… he was on the phone last night with his boss (also an electrician) trying to figure out why our dryer outlet died. No worries though… he is going to fix it tonight. Thank you, sweetie!

As a final attempt to relax a little bit, Sean encouraged me to work in some time at the spa to get a massage, so he is taking me to Spa Sydell tomorrow. We plan on going out to dinner together on our last weekend as a single couple afterwards.

So, here we are… Sean said counting the days is over, but I’m still counting! 8 days!!! We’re completely ready for the day to be here. We don’t know what we will do when we come home from our honeymoon and don’t have a million things going on. haha… it’s really going to be nice, I think. We’ll have a chance to continue working on fixing up the house, which is something I completely enjoy doing. Fresh paint, fresh colors, new decorating stuff everywhere… and it all is for OUR home. No more Jenny’s house or Sean’s house, but it’s OUR house. Man, that’s nice to say!
