Valentine’s Day

February 28th, 2007 by Jenny

Since we just had returned from our honeymoon, we had a low-key Valentine’s Day. Sean had made dinner reservations about a month before, and we had agreed that we would have a nice dinner, but not do any big gifts. So, I bought him a “spin-the-bottle” game I found at Target, and we started our Willow Tree collection with one of the husband and wife figurines. Sean had beautiful roses delivered to me (check out Hallmark’s flowers!).

Dinner was a surprise for me. Sean likes to surprise me, so he was enjoying the fact that I had no idea where we were going. As a matter of fact, we were IN the hotel, and I still did not know what restaurant we were going to. Then, I saw the sign. SUN DIAL!!!!!!! I had never been to the Sun Dial before, but John and Megan got engaged there, and I had wanted to go for the past year or two. And there we were!

It was a really delicious meal! We had a fantastic waitress, who we found out was in a national waitressing competition. She was REAL good! We enjoyed our meal and each other’s company. Especially as Mr. and Mrs. Williams! Good job, sweetheart! I loved it!
