Well, I am relieved. It seems this level of heartburn is normal among pregnant women, and the doctor gave me two different prescriptions to keep it under control. So, that makes me happy. I can’t wait for this burning to go away! OUCH!

While I was there, we turned it into my 16 week appointment, so that I didn’t have to go back on Tuesday. I got to hear the baby! With the Doppler, we could hear the baby kicking and moving all over the place, even though I can’t feel that yet. The doctor says it was very active, and the heartbeat was close to 160. She speculates we may be having a little girl due to the high heart rate. We’ll find out for sure next month!!!
