Achy Breaky Back
It’s been awhile since my last post, so I thought I better update everyone. We’ve made it to the 22 week mark, and my back is pretty much killing me. I’m speculating that I’ll most likely have back labor when Baby Jack makes his grand appearance. So, Sean has to help me remember to pack a 3-pack can of tennis balls for the hospital. I’m pretty skeptical of going to a chiropractor while I’m pregnant, so I’ll probably ask my OB what I should do during our December visit. It’s very unpleasant. That’s really my only complaint this month.
I’ve felt a lot better and had a lot more energy than I did. My belly is growing every day, and I outgrew all of my early maternity clothes. I’m cleaning like crazy, which is a bad trait when you are remodeling your basement because everything is out of place and dirty from construction. It’s enough to make a nesting, pregnant lady crazy! But I’ll live…. the end of the remodel is in sight. And knowing it will all be done by Christmas makes me feel better.
The funniest moment this month has been whether to lick or not to lick the envelopes for our Christmas cards. I licked a bunch at work last year and got silly off of the glue. So, I’m thinking it’s probably not real good for the baby. I will either invent a sponge method or have Sean lick them all for me - haha. Sorry honey!
