Lotion Is My Belly’s Best Friend
On Monday, we will be 23 weeks (almost 6 months). The newest development this week is my belly skin is starting to stretch quite a bit, and it hurts! So, I’ve been lathering on the lotion, which is soothing that slight burning/itching feeling quite a bit. Baby Jack is very active, and I feel him more and more. He seems to love when mommy eats, and he is easier to feel moving when I lay on my back (which I can’t do for very long anymore). I can feel his kicks well above my belly button now. Speaking of, it’s completely flattened out now, and Sean is on the countdown to when it pops out. UGH! I’m praying it stays like this for a good long time. I tried to avoid buying a maternity winter coat, but it’s gotten quite chilly here this month, and I’ve needed one. So, this week, I broke down and finally bought me one, along with a Christmas outfit and some church clothes. I had to wear my corduroys to church last week and was mortified. Not that anyone really cares, but I did. Anyways, it’s been a good pregnant week.
