Today, we got a surprise sneak peek at our precious baby! During our doctor’s visit, the ultrasound tech was looking for 3D pictures that she could make a bulletin board with, and we were happy to volunteer and see our baby again! So, the above picture is Baby Jack at 27 weeks. He had a lot more fat on his face than we or the tech expected this early, so he seems to be growing like a little weed! My belly measured 29 weeks, and he had a strong heartbeat.

I had my one-hour glucose test today, which was not a lot of fun. The syrupy drink didn’t taste that bad, but it sure made me sick! I got very nauseated towards the end of that one-hour period, and I was happy to get my blood drawn and get out of there. Let’s all pray that I pass my test, so I don’t have to do the 3-hour fasting glucose test! YUCK!

We’ll go back once more at the end of January, and then we will be going every two weeks for the next month. Time is definitely starting to get shorter as we anticipate the arrival of our son.
