Gainesville Baby Shower

February 10th, 2008 by Jenny

On Saturday, Sean and I traveled up to his mom’s house in Gainesville for our very first baby shower. We had a great time visiting with Sean’s old high school buddies and family, as well as meeting some of his mom’s co-workers from school. Pat’s hard work was more than evident when we walked in the door. She had a HUGE food display waiting for us, lots of fun shower games planned, and the gift table was overwhelming. Our neatest gift was made by Sean’s mom - it was a baby doll made from all usable materials (blankets, socks, burp cloths, clothes, etc.) - such a creative and neat idea! Apparently this is her trademark gift at all showers she attends! Who knew?! See a picture of it in the swing below. We greatly appreciate Pat for all of her hard work and time that she put into this shower for us, all of the guests who came to honor Baby Jack, and all of the wonderful gifts we received.
