Happy Valentine’s Day!
Sean and I had a nice Valentine’s Day together. I snuck his card and some Reeces Cup candies in a heart box in his computer chair the night before, so he would find them before he left for work. When I woke up, he had made me a screensaver with a personalized message on it with my card laying on my keyboard. So sweet! I wasn’t feeling very good, so it took me awhile to get up and moving. By lunchtime, I was craving Mexican, so he invited me to pick him up at work and go out to eat with him. That was fun! (I love flan these days!)
As some of you know, we celebrated our first anniversary and Valentine’s Day at the Sun Dial last weekend, so we decided to stay at home last night for dinner. So, when Sean got home, we went to the grocery store together and bought steaks, potatoes and veggies. Sean tried out a new Emeril recipe with the steaks, which was spicy but very flavorful! And we tried a new potato recipe from The Food Network that turned out to be very good! It was kind of like a mashed potato soufflé. Towards the end of the night, we cuddled up to the newest Lost episode and settled in for the night. It was a nice day with my Valentine! Oh! I almost forgot! Sean ordered me the most beautiful tulips that arrived just as he was getting home. He kept trying to convince me that he ordered more RC car parts, but I knew he had something up his sleeve. Thanks for my flowers, love!
We hope all of you enjoyed your Valentine’s Day!
