Well, we’re officially at the 9 month mark! I turned 36 weeks this past Monday, and Sean and I just returned from our doctor’s appointment. Today, they drew my blood for the last time, did the Group B Strep test and checked my cervix for effacement and dilation. I have had a lot of cramping and low back aches this week, so I was expecting to have made some progress, and we did! The baby is head down and in position, and we were 1-2 cm dilated and 50% effaced. It is common for women to walk around like this for weeks, but we are hoping that we have made even more progress by the time we go for our next appointment next week. Please pray that me and Baby Jack will have a safe and healthy delivery and that God will give Sean the strength and patience he will need to deal with me in labor - haha!
