There’s nothing a manicure and pedicure can’t solve, ladies! Today has been a much better day. Last night, I started doing all of the treatments my doctor asked me to do - pain medicine, cream and a hot sitz bath really helped me to relax and find some relief for the first time all day. I slept fairly well, which was a nice surprise, and I woke up with very little pain and actually felt somewhat relieved when I got out of bed. I took off this morning for my spa manicure and pedicure. Let me tell you! It was heaven!!!!!!!! I didn’t realize how swollen and sore my feet were until someone started rubbing and massaging them! It was fabulous! Now I have nice nails for the hospital. I think it’s ironic how I’m not going to wear one smudge of makeup, yet I feel the need to have nice looking nails. Haha!

I just want to say THANK YOU to my husband, family and friends yesterday who were so supportive and encouraging to me. I was in so much pain and had reached the end of my rope. But everyone stepped up to help me get through it, and I couldn’t be more thankful! Sean even commented on how many people were calling me last night, and it was my support system all calling to check on me and let me know they were praying for us. We know all of this will be worth it in the end when we are holding our son for the first time, but getting to that point during the last few weeks has been a tough journey. However, I know God will give us the strength we need to perservere through the pain and discomfort, and I know you will all be praying for us as we are getting so close to meeting our baby boy! We love you!
