I cannot believe how time has flown by! Tomorrow, Jack will be three weeks old. We survived our first week without dad, but we sure do miss him during the day! This week, Jack is staying more awake during the day, gaining a little more control over his hands, and has started making a lot of baby noises. He still is pretty inconsistent with his sleep schedule at night. Some nights he will sleep in three hour stretches, and other nights we are awake every other hour. He also likes to sleep with the security of knowing we are holding him, so he sleeps on my chest at nights for the time being. If I put him in the co-sleeper, he will sleep for about 30 minutes but will soon wake up. I did find that he will nap during the day in his bouncy/vibrating seat pretty well, which gives me a little time to catch up on emails, fold a load of laundry or MAYBE get a shower - ha! I still nap with him a lot during the day to catch up on my own sleep, so there are not a lot of chores getting done around the house right now. Here are a few new pictures:
