Today, Jack went on an adventure with mom and dad. We went to Patrick and Deena’s wedding in Ellijay. It was an outdoor wedding at Patrick’s parent’s house, and it was beautiful. Jack spent his drive up there talking and smiling at his rainforest monkey mirror in the backseat, so unfortunately he did not sleep. Once we got there, we spent five minutes outside (with him shaded with a blanket from the sun) before realizing he would not do well in the heat. He was red as a beet, and the pediatrician said no suncreen until six months of age. So, we went inside the house and watched the wedding from the front porch windows. After the wedding, it was back on the road to the house. We decided not to stay for the reception since it was also outdoors and much too hot for our little man. But we made it, and he did very well!
