My child is growing like a weed! Every time I turn around, he is moving up in something. First, it was the PJs – yes, he is in a 18 month PJ now. Then, it was overalls and one-piece outfits – again, 18 months. Recently, we had to move him up to a size 5 diaper! He is still doing well with the 12-18 month shirts and pants, although they really fit well, if you know what I mean. Then… well, where do I start?
We went to get Jack’s 9 month pictures done last Friday. We happened to drive around The Avenues at West Cobb, since we were early, and I wanted to see what stores they had. Then, I saw there was a Stride Rite, and they were having a big clearance sale. So, I thought, “Why not see what size shoe Jack really wears?” He is cruising now and trying to walk, so he needs to be in shoes while in the church nursery and while we are running errands and stuff. So, after his pictures, we took him down there. (Side note: I had been putting him in size 4 shoes for the past month.) The saleslady was so helpful. She measured his foot, and to our surprise, Jack wears a size 5 Wide shoe! Now I see why it was so hard to get his shoes on lately! HA! Oops!
They had a great sale, half off the old styles. She said he was one size away from having to go to a toddler shoe, so we snagged the last size in the infant shoe department! I wanted the softer soled shoes while he was learning to walk, and we barely were able to get those. So, we bought him two pairs of new shoes.
And here is the second pair (a little different in colors but very similar)
those are too cute! What a great sale!
It is amazing how fast their feet grow! One minute Elizabeth was a 4, and now she is a 6W at stride rite. Yikes! LOL.
