Anniversary, Valentine’s Day & A BIG Snow!

Sean and I always combine our anniversary and Valentine’s Day dinners so that we can enjoy a nice dinner out that we normally wouldn’t do for ourselves. We call it Valeversary, and this year was our third year! We decided to go out during the week to beat the Valentine’s Day crowd. On Thursday night, we went out to The Melting Pot for fondue! It was so scrumptious!!!!!!! Last year, we went overboard with their “special”. It was just too much food! So this time, we had it all planned out. And if Sean hadn’t eaten SIX marshmallows for dessert, he may not have been so miserable. HA! Regardless, it was a fabulous dinner, and we had a really great time.

We’ve been working very hard to pay off out debt, so this year we decided not to do anything big for Valentine’s Day. So, we went basic this year and just got cards for each other. Jack isn’t quite old enough to get it anyways, so he thought his card was more of a nuisance, since it took him away from playing momentarily – ha! Oh well… it was still a nice day. Grandude and Mimi came over to visit too, so that was fun! They loaded us up with all sorts of goodies – YAY!!!

Last but not least, we were surprised with FOUR INCHES of snow this weekend!!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes!!!!!!!!! It started on Friday afternoon, and it didn’t let up for hours! We got the really good snow that you find out West – not the icy mess that we normally get. This was powdery goodness, and we had FUN playing in it! Check out a few of our pictures below:
